Dongan offers two series of transformers for Hazardous locations. These are typically for Class 1 Div II and are fully encapsulated for additional protection.
The AP12 series has a 180°C insulation system with a 55°C rise and are all 50/60 hertz rated, all copper windings, a capacity of 1kVA to 10kVA. All units are electrostatically shielded. We offer several different voltage combinations to meet many applications. This series is approved for use in General Motors plants.
The FP12 series has a 180° insulation system with a 115° temperature rise and are 60 hertz standard except for the 380/575 units which are 50/60 hertz. Capacity is 1kVA through 10kVA, all copper windings, electrostaic shield and lead wires for termination. Again we offer various voltage combinations to meet many applications.
